Chicagoans will have a new way to shop for Motorola products this holiday season as the company is set to open an experiential Moto Shop on November 7th.
The Moto Shop will open in the heart of downtown Chicago and consumers will be able to experience Motorola’s latest offerings in a hands-on, interactive environment. Instead of heading online to Moto Maker, shoppers will be able to hit the mini workshop and check out the genuine leathers, real woods, and the broad range of colors available to build a Moto X Pure Edition. In addition, nearly all the Moto Maker smartwatch customization options will be on display so you can experience first hand how the newest Moto 360 in your favorite configuration will look on your wrist before you buy it.
A Moto Shoot set is also available, allowing you to get your photo taken with the Moto X Pure’s 21MP camera, and Motorola claims after you use it you’ll never want to use another camera again. And not to stop there, Motorola also has a Drop Zone where you can test the new Moto ShatterShield screen included on the new Droid Turbo 2. In the Drop Zone, you’ll be able to drop the Droid Turbo 2 onto concrete, tile, and ceramic to see firsthand just how shatterproof it is.
As mentioned previously, the Moto Shop opens on November 7th and the grand opening will be on November 14th. If you’re in the Chicago area, you can swing by 108N. State St. (Suite 140 at Block 37) Monday through Saturday between 10 am – 8pm, or between 11 am and 6pm on Sundays.
